wonderful view but limited amenities
The waterfront view from my double room was stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for my stay. The comforts in the modernized bedroom ensured a restful night, and the staff were exceptionally helpful.
Some amenities were slightly below expectations.

The location near the harbor provides stunning views and easy access to local attractions, making it convenient for exploring the area. The room featured a spacious layout with comfortable furnishings, although the decor showed signs of wear.
There were definite drawbacks during our stay. The breakfast fell short compared to the price, served lukewarm tea and limited self-serve options which felt stingy given the cost. the restaurant experience was disappointing. the food quality didn't match the hotel’s standards, leading us to skip breakfast altogether. The room ventilation was another issue—despite having a fan, it felt stuffy and the window couldn't be opened due to insect interference. the atmosphere felt a bit dated and some fixtures in the room, like weak bedside lighting, could really use an upgrade.

Room 33 offered fantastic views of the harbour and was spacious and clean. The bed provided good comfort, and breakfast featured notable items like cured meats, with attentive service. the lack of a bath and poor sink water pressure were disappointing, as was the inadequate bedside lighting for reading. having to park on the street, while manageable, was inconsistent.
